Father's Day event PDF
CMLF sponsors two annual Fly-ins: Fish Fry PDF
1. Father's Day Flyin.. is on the Saturday of Father's Day weekend each year. Noon lunch is
Grilled chicken with all the trimmings (including homemade deserts).
2. Fish Fry Flyin...........is on the second Saturday of November each year. Noon Lunch is
fresh catfish (fried and grilled) with all the trimmings (including
homemade deserts).
Activities for both events are from 9:00AM till 3:00PM, and both events are open to the general public. Young Eagle plane rides are usually available to children between the ages of 8 and 17. Also we have glider rides and other airplane rides usually available for a donation to CMLF. For the little kids, we have free tow along kiddie airplanes that they can "pilot" themselves. We never know how many planes will be able to attend (subject to weather), but we usually have 50 to 75 aircraft, including ultralights, gliders, military, experimental, helicopters, and general aviation. We sometimes have fly-bys of various military or experimental high performance aircraft. We strive to be safety conscious and have an "Air Boss" on the Field to coordinate traffic and parking.
